Mueller Redacts Newly Found Texts??, 2008
Good evening, I’m still reporting on: Mueller Redacts Newly Found Texts??, 2008 Synopsis: Well, it looks like some of those missing texts between FBI trysters may be missing for a reason; how about because they implicate Robert Mueller in something or another. Byron York, writing in the Washington Examiner, says that only 15% of the text messages between star-crossed lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page have been turned over to Congressional investigators so far. And, for some strange reason, some were sent by the FBI over to the Special Council, Robert Mueller, and he redacted portions of those emails. So now, we have the possibility that the DOJ is covering for the Special Counsel. Well, the FBI came up with a very creative excuse for this action. Asst. Attorney General Stephen Boyd sent a letter to Congressional investigators saying: “… the department has redacted from some work-related text messages portions that were purely personal …. Primarily to facilitate the committee’s access to potentially relevant text messages without having to cull through large quantities of material….” Hmmm. Let me see. I have not noticed either the DOJ, or the FBI being concerned before about saving Congressional investigating committees time so that they could reach their conclusions speedily. My guess would be that this is just a way to destroy the most damning ones. But it gets even worse. Boyd goes on that in a few instances the DOJ has consulted with Mueller’s office and he made some redactions:
